Brazos Manufacturing serves three verticals which complement each other and each makes us better at the others.
Starting in 2015 our Material Handling Division began engineering and fabricating forklift ramps. Including yard ramps, steel dock boards and customized solutions for transiting heavy loads between levels. Those type of items were in our DNA and we continue to add and perfect those products.
Sometime in 2019 we saw an opportunity with pressurized vessels used extensively in the oil & gas industry and our Oilfield Division was born. Entry into this market required multiple certifications and quality programs which included two stamps from the American Society of Mechanical Engineers – ASME. The U Stamp and the R Stamp.
These disciplines really upped our game in our overall manufacturing capabilities. The new equipment, new processes and new people changed us from being a small regional ramp provider into a National supplier thru our Material Handling Div and a expanding role in the quest for American energy independence.
The third vertical is the finishing (paint & powder coat) for the products produced in our Material Handling and Oilfield divisions. The size and requirements of our product lines caused us to invest in technology and people to paint and coat metal up to 40′ long. When this investment serviced our internal needs but left us with spare capacity we turned to the DFW manufacturing community and offered those services. Some manufacturers can avoid the pitfalls of developing a inhouse solution and others can avoid spikes in volume to force investment to expand. Either way it is a win for us and those companies.
Brazos Manufacturing & Welding continues to grow on three fronts. We would love to have a conversation with you about your needs that might be serviced by one of our three specialties. Visit our “Contact Us” page or call us during Texas business hours.
