Brazos manufactures its line of steel pipe bollards and other protective shapes from schedule pipe, not tubing. Used primarily to protect areas around loading docks and warehouses, these can also be used to restrict traffic and offer a measure of security. They have been known to stop ram raiding and other destructive attacks. A few years ago the Chinese flooded the market with cheap tubing that just looked like standard steel posts offering a visual warning but not any real barrier. Many American manufacturers followed suit.

Our heavy floor plates attached with larger and longer anchors yield superior impact resistance to our line of surface mount steel posts/pipes. Our no-baseplate models are made to sink into concrete with re-bar reinforcement. This will withstand tremendous impact by fork-trucks, personnel-carriers and other motorized vehicles.
